You are bidding on a vintage"Lovell" hand crank clothes wringer which is working condition. It is painted white metal with some chipping and surface scratches. This has intact rollers with adjustable tension control and metal clamps for tub. The clamps swivel adjusting from about 12 to 16 inches. The body(not including handles) measures approximately 12 1/4" x 6" rollers measure approximately 11 inches in length. As can be viewed in the third photo. The top roller has a crack which measures about 1 1/4" The rollers have"Lovell Mfg Co. printed on them. Both red knobs are made of red plastic. Good luck!

On one side of the piece is written"Blue Grass- It's All in the Rubber" Incorporated Louiseville Ky" with the name of the company above it- it is very faint- all I can read is Belk. Co. The other side of the piece reads"Blue Grass Rolls 10 x 1 3/4 Inches" The rollers are tan rubber. They are very dry and cracked. The tub mounting clamps are in tact and in working order. The tention adjusters are in working order. The crank on the side works as well. Wood is in good condition with some wear- appears to have been stained a dark color at some point. Overall 21-1/2 inches wide 12 inches high and 7 inches thick. Rollers are 11-3/4 inches long and 2-1/2 inches thick. Rollers are in good condition-not all chewed up or falling apart. This is a WRINGER WASHER STAND by ANCHOR BRAND WRINGERS. LOVELL MFG from the late 1800s. The rollers have age cracks. But overall this item is in good shape for its age. It is solid and is fully functional. The wringer. In-between the tubs squeezes the soapy water out of the clothes and they fall into the clean rinse water. The clothes are then ran back through the wringer to get most of the water out of them before they are line dried. It folds up when it is not in use and unfolds to hold two wash tubs. One for wash water and the for rinse water. It is about 50" x 18"w/o crank) x 12" The crank increases the 18" measurement to about 29" When it opens it is about 48" x 50" x 29' There is original printing on this item with a lot of it being legible. THIS ROLLER HAS NEVER BEEN USED. BUT THE PAPER WRAPPER HAS BEEN TORN AWAY THROUGH THE YEARS OF STORAGE, BUT IT IS VERY CLEAN. THIS ROLLER DATES BACK TO THE 1940'S. IT MEASURES 14 3/4" TOTAL LENGTH. THE ROLLER ITSELF MEASURES ABOUT 12 1/2" LONG(TO WHERE THE SHAFTS START" AND HAS A CIRCUMFERENCE OF 6 1/4" THE END SHAFTS SHOWN ARE 5/8" IN DIAMETER AND EACH IS ABOUT 1 1/2" LONG.
